I’m Marcus Montrose — husband, father, and finance professional with a career shaped by resilience, grit, and integrity. Born and raised in Harlem, NYC, I learned discipline and leadership early through the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps program at Xavier High School. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies with an English Honor Minor, graduating Magna Cum Laude, at John Jay College of Criminal Justice while working full-time in New York City’s top law firms. That grind — working by day in banking and by night in law — built the foundation of the work ethic I still bring to my clients today.
In 2005, I moved to California with my wife, Eiko, to begin the next chapter of my life at GMAC Mortgage dba DiTech.com. Over the last 20 years, I’ve seen it all — from the mortgage meltdown that forced me to restart in Charlotte, NC, to rebuilding my career back in Harlem as an FHA Renovation Specialist with Wells Fargo Private Bank, helping restore brownstones in the community where I was raised. Later, at loanDepot in Irvine, CA, I rose to become a Chairman’s Elite Executive Loan Officer, building two homes for my own family and achieving a 7-figure income during some of the most challenging market conditions in history, including the COVID era.
As a Mortgage Broker with West Capital Lending, I connect clients with the right loans from over 90 lenders, ensuring they get options — not limitations. I’m proud to be licensed in 10 states (CA, CO, TN, NM, OR, VA, MD, UT, AZ, TX) and to deliver expert mortgage services under NMLS ID 38880. Whether it’s securing your dream home, restructuring debt, or unlocking equity for growth, I make sure the process is clear, smooth, and aligned with your goals. And as a licensed California Realtor (CA DRE 02216729), I also bridge the gap between finance and real estate, making sure your home or business transactions are seamless from start to finish.
That vision inspired me to create Wealth With Marcus LLC. Banks often can’t, or won’t, serve everyone’s needs — so I built a platform that delivers financial solutions they can’t. Through partnerships with private lenders and investors, we provide niche programs that truly move the needle: Fix & Flip Financing, Securities-Based Lending (borrowing 70–90% of a portfolio without giving up ownership or paying capital gains tax), and fast Business Term Loans and Lines of Credit to keep entrepreneurs moving forward, but resilience and focus are what I’ve built my life on.
Today, as Branch Manager at West Capital Lending and Founder of Wealth With Marcus, my mission is simple: to help families, entrepreneurs, and investors achieve their goals with transparency, integrity, and smart capital strategies that traditional banks simply can’t offer.
📍 When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me with my family, traveling, exploring new food spots, just living the life for which I am grateful.
Let’s connect and start building your financial story—one that’s rooted in clarity, growth, and long-term success.
